Side Plank Abduction
Hip strength and stability is controlled by many individual muscles working in unison, and the hips integrate highly with the spine. The side plank is an exercise which reinforces proper spinal posture, whilst working the lateral hip and torso. Abducting (lifting) the top leg is harder than it looks! We are starting with 3 sets of 30seconds each side with the leg abducted, progressing the amount of time each session.
