The number of birdies Spieth made during the week, which was the highest, along with five other players, of the field. Spieth ranked 59th in driving distance (296 yards), 68th in fairways hit (35) and fifth in greens in regulation (55). He ranked 15th in total number of putts taken (126).

Spieth wasn’t the only 21-year-old who had a fantastic week. Australia’s Cameron Smith, an Asian Tour member, shot up to a tie for fourth with an eagle-three at the 18th after his fairway-wood approach rolled to within a couple of feet of the hole. Smith was also the only player to record all four rounds at level-par or better.
