HONG KONG, 9 May 2016, (HK Golfer News Wire) - Kitty Tam began her freshman year at San Diego State University in California last August. She is currently a member of the university’s golf team, and has had a wonderful season playing with her teammates.
Tam looks forward to returning to her hometown and playing in the Hong Kong Ladies Open next month. “I got to play a lot more golf in California,” Tam said, “I am ready to show my skills on the Old Course at Fanling next month.”
Tam finished in a tie of 19th place in the inaugural Hong Kong Ladies Open. When asked if she still fears the par-3 12th, where she missed an easy putt in round two last year, her answer was fearlessly simple: “Not anymore!”
The Hong Kong Ladies Open 2016 will take place from 10th to 12th of June over the Old Course at Hong Kong Golf Club.
