His place goes to fellow American Webb Simpson, who placed sixth at the season-ending Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic in Florida on Sunday.
Luke Donald, meanwhile, has stretched his lead over fellow Englishman Lee Westwood at the top thanks to his win in Florida.
Former world number two Sergio Garcia of Spain is up from 49th to 31st thanks to his win in the Castello Masters on Sunday.
