HONG KONG, 6 Jul 2015, (HK Golfer News Wire) - This year, qualification for the renowned event was via the ‘Road to the MercedesTrophy Hong Kong 2015’, a new format that allowed even more Hong Kong Golf Association (HKGA) subscribers to take part.
In fine conditions, the players enjoyed a fun day on the Eden course followed by a relaxing cocktail reception and gala dinner. During the dinner, not only were the results announced but there was also a lucky draw and a magic performance and a R&A with Hong Kong national players Tiffany Chan and Michelle Cheung and national coach Brad Schadewitz. Mercedes-Benz is the Exclusive Car Partner of the HKGA.
Three cars were on display at Fanling - a Mercedes-AMG C 63, a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the “Hole-in-one” award, a CLA 250 Shooting Brake.
A total of seven winners emerged triumphant and are eligible to enter the MercedesTrophy Asia Final in August on Australia’s Gold Coast. Out of those seven, the highest scoring Mercedes-Benz owner will go on to represent Hong Kong against amateur golfers from all over the world in the MercedesTrophy World Final in September in Germany.
