Park maintains Meijer Classic lead

Park In-Bee fired a three-under 68 on Saturday as she maintained a one shot lead heading into the final round of the LPGA Tour's Meijer Classic.

"I feel like I'm stroking the ball a little bit better this week," Park said

BELMONT, August 10, 2014 (AFP) - Four-time major champ Park finished 54 holes at 13-under 200 and has a one stroke lead on South Korea compatriot Lee Mi-Rim at the Blythefield Country Club course.

"Today was a little bit windier than the other two days," Park said. "I was able to hole a couple of long putts, so I was able to go a little bit lower today.

"Obviously I putted really good out there today, just like I did last two days."

Park is a 10-time winner on USLPGA Tour after hoisting the trophy at the Manulife Financial Classic in June.

Rookie Lee is in sole possession of second place at 12-under 201 following her third-round 67. She is looking to win her first event on the Tour.

Park says she is pleased with the new putter she has in her bag.

"I think it is something just really different and something really new to my eyes," Park said. "I just wanted to put this putter in before I go to major next week and kind of see what it's like.

"It seems like it's going really on line, and I feel like I'm stroking the ball a little bit better this week."

Beginning the day one shot back of Park, Suzann Pettersen bogeyed her last hole to fall two shots back of the lead at 11-under. She finished Saturday with a two-under 69.

Pettersen headed straight to the driving range after her round to work on her swing. She is looking for her first win of the year.

"One of those days where you just fight to stay in it," said Pettersen. "I didn't have the greatest of feels throughout the round, a little bit of gusty wind at the time. Some greens are getting really hard so there were a lot of challenges."

Line Vedel (68) is five shots back at eight under and is in fourth. Beatriz Recari (67) and Haru Nomura (69) are tied for fifth at seven-under 206.
