SAN DIEGO, 9 July 2016, (HK Golfer News Wire) – Chan finished the two-round tournament with a total of three-over-par 145, two shots behind Chinese Taipei’s winner Chia-Yen Wu.
Chan caught five birdies in total, including twice on the 325-yard par-4 8th hole. She handled the 5422-yard St. Mark Golf Club with a 72.50 stroke average, nearly 12 strokes better than the overall stroke average of 84.44.
Chloe’s younger sister Zoie also delivered as she claimed third place in the 7-8 age division. Zoie closed the tournament with a birdie on the final hole, securing her trophy with one stroke ahead of fourth place Yiting Wang.
