More than 270 golfers were in action during the ever-popular two-day event for Hong Kong Golf Association subscribers. Sixty-seven players also qualified for the prestigious MercedesTrophy Hong Kong 2015 in what was the final of three qualifying events for the internationally-renowned MercedesTrophy event back at Fanling on June 26.
Having reached the turn in four over par, 18-year-old Lam steadied himself in the blistering heat and found two birdies on the back nine to clinch the Men’s Strokeplay division. Ma Chak-lin claimed the Men’s Stableford prize with 26 points and Estee Leung was the Ladies Stableford winner with 35 points.
