HONG KONG, 19 July 2016 (HK Golfer News Wire) - The 22-year-old former Diocesan Girls School student, who was joined at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Deep Water Bay by those closest to her, will make her debut in the US Women's Amateur in the first week of August before meeting up with the Hong Kong delegation in Brazil.
Chan, a product of the HKGA's junior development programme, said:
"It was the perfect Olympic send-off. The messages of congratulations and attention I've received since my place in Rio was confirmed have been overwhelming and I am truly thankful for all the support I have had from everyone involved in Hong Kong golf and beyond. I will do my best and hope to make Hong Kong proud.”
