Eighteen-year-old Huang, who fired an astonishing 62 in the second round, capped his week with a 73 to finish on a three-day total of 207 (nine-under-par) and a 14-shot win over Hong Kong's Steven Lam Tsz-fung in second place. Park Nam-kyu, from Switzerland, placed third, a further shot adrift.
Huang, who is based at the Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club in Guangdong and is mentored by China's number one professional Liang Wen-chong, also booked his place in December's UBS Hong Kong Open by virtue of the victory.
"I'm really excited at the prospect of playing at Fanling with the European Tour pros," said Huang, whose 10-under-par effort in the second round couldn't be counted as a new course record because of the preferred lies ruling that was in place. "Even though I had a big lead I was just trying to focus on playing each shot at a time and not to think too much about my score. It worked out well for me."
Although Lam was never likely to challenge Huang's lead, the 18-year-old former Hong Kong Close champion battled back gamely after a shocking start. Lam, who held a share of the first round lead before Huang's second-day fireworks, overcame a disastrous 11 on the par-five 6th with seven birdies in a closing 76.
