Evans Claims Second HK Seniors Crown

Alan Evans earned his second Hong Kong Seniors Open Amateur Championship at Fanling on Friday, the Australian firing a composed final-round 73 over the Old Course to claim the title by six shots.

Alan Evans wins going awayHONG KONG, November 11, 2011 - Melbourne-based Evans, who last won the championship in 2007, finished on a two-round total of 145 (three-over-par) after the first day's play was cancelled because of heavy rain.
Joe Pethes was the top Hong Kong player, his total of 151 earning him second place. Canada's Tatsuo Asai finished third, a further three shots adrift.
