HONG KONG, 3 Nov 2015, (HK Golfer News Wire) - The Cup of Kindness is the Club's major charity fundraising initiative - and thanks to the generous support from the Club's members and the event's many sponsors, a total of HK$3.1 million was raised.
Club Captain Kenneth Lam (in above picture) is presenting a cheque for HK$1.2 million to Tracy Pattrick from the Home of Loving Faithfulness, a residential care home for mentally and physically disabled young people.
Other significant contributions will go to other neighbourhood charities such as Buddhist Po Ching Home for the Aged Women; Buddhist Po Ching Care and Attention Home for the Aged Women; Heep Hong Society for the Handicapped; Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service - HK Children and Youth Centre, Sheung Shui; HK Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Services Ltd - Bradbury Sheung Shui Family Centre; the North District Hospital; We R Family Foundation, Friends of Asia Foundation and China Coast Community.
