BALL Watch brings instant low-light visibility to a new level with the introduction of the all new Engineer Hydrocarbon AeroGMT, with its ground-breaking micro gas light rotating bezel.
A watch for flight crew and air traffic professionals, it incorporates, for the first time in any timepiece, H3 micro gas tubes in the chassis of the bezel. This bezel carries a 24- hour graduation, and marks out a third timezone in addition to its standard and second time-zone GMT functions. In the darkness of an aircraft cockpit or air traffic control, this bezel comes alive with a luminosity 100 times more effective than conventional luminous paint found in other aviation watches, yet is selfpowered for up to 25 years.
The Engineer Hydrocarbon AeroGMT also carries on with BALL Watch’s signature toughness and can absorb impact of up to 7,500Gs, and carries an anti-magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m. The 42mm machined stainless steel case is equipped with the BALL patented crown-protection system to ensure a sealed-system.
The aviator-inspired face has hour indexes and main hands carrying yellow H3 gas tubes, with the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock markings receiving double gas tubes, with a pair of ultra-distinctive orange gas tubes holding court at the 12 o’clock index. The second time-zone GMT hand tops this all off with green gas tubes, in tribute to BALL’s corporate colours.
