Front Plank

PURPOSE: Anti-extension of the spine. Strengthen various anterior trunk musculature and enhance spinal stability under load.

HOW: Hold in the top position, start with 3 sets of 30 seconds. Increase sets and time holding to progress.

PRESCRIPTION: 3-4 sets of 20-30 seconds. Progress with greater time in the hold.
