2012

Last year Louis Oosthuizen pulled off something only three other golfers have accomplished in Masters history. On the second hole, the South African pured his 4-iron from the left side of the fairway. His Pro V1x – the most popular ball on tour – hit just shy of the left fringe and bounded up onto the green where it caught the slope and rolled quickly to the right. David Feherty called it from there. “This one could be very nice,” the wry Northern Irishman said. “Could be very nice.” And it was. As it hit the stick, Feherty roared, “Yes! Double eagle. Albatross. Call it what you like, Louis Oosthuizen goes to 10-under par.” But it wasn’t meant to be. Oostie lost on the second play-off hole to Bubba Watson.
