With its 50-storey tower rising 170m above the South Bank, One Blackfriars is one of the most talked-about and striking property developments in London, one that will provide 274 new homes. Developed by St George, a proud member of the Berkeley Group, One Blackfriars is more than an architectural statement; this is a development that will create a brand new riverside quarter immediately south of Blackfriars Bridge, SE1.
One Blackfriars will also provide a 152-bedroom boutique hotel and a beautifully landscaped public piazza with a fashionable mix of retail, restaurants and bars. With stunning views over The River Thames, The London Eye, St Paul's and The City of London, the development sits moments from the Blackfriars Underground Station. This stunning building will also feature a resident’s health club with spa, infinity pool, sauna steam room and gym along with a private screening room, resident’s wine cellar and a 24 hour concierge service provided by Harrods Estates Asset Management.
Organised by Colliers International, property agent for One Blackfriars, in conjunction with HK Golfer, the event witnessed some fine play, with the winners receiving their prizes from Mark Griffiths, managing director of St George, at the end of a superb dinner in the Shek O clubhouse.
Lowest score of the day honours went to Shek O member Rick Kroos, whose fast-finishing 76 was enough to pip Robin Hammond and Kelvin Inge on countback. In the nett division, which was decided by the Peoria scoring system, Michael Kan ended up on top with a score of 60.4 over the par-65 layout. Calvin Chau, Quinton Chau, Kenneth Wong and John Grove combined to secure the team prize.
