The Shack Up Inn
On to perhaps the strangest accommodation in the region in the shape of the Shack Up Inn. This is a collection of run down sharecroppers shacks which for the most part have been left untouched on the outside. Inside is a bit better, with at least running water and electricity, but this isn’t about comfort. It’s about experiencing the living conditions of these Blues pioneers (albeit much sanitized!), and the central bar, restaurant and stage area has a huge collection of posters, old signs and artwork which make for a great experience.
