What’s the role of HKGA in the development of your amateur career?
The biggest help was probably the amount of rounds I was able to play in HK. If not for HKGA I don't think I would be able to maintain my form for very long. Iain Valentine has also helped me in the HKGA and also supports me in Scotland as he himself went to Loretto (his son Rick is the head coach there as well, and we are close). Brad (Schadewitz, Lead Coach from HKGA) also helped me out with my US college and giving me tips and people who could help out.
How would you describe your playing style and performance so far?
The quality of my performance has only gone up throughout this year, which also skyrocketed my confidence in my game. I think this helped me to continue to play well through 2016. I'm the type of guy that would 'go for it' when given the chance. I also think I'm quite emotional on the course, which can be good and bad. But if I start well, I often continue to play my game well.
