Artigolle and Chan Crowned Albert Lai Champs

Yannick Artigolle and Vivian Chan were crowned winners of the 2016 Albert KW Lai Junior Tournament at the Hong Kong Golf Club in another busy month for amateur golf in Hong Kong

16-year-old Artigolle claimed the boys’ Gross Stableford title with 34 points over 18 holes on the New Course at Fanling while Vivian Chan, 13, returned 30 points to take the girls’ division. Both are pictured here with the Hong Kong Golf Club's Director of Golf Dean Nelson.

July's crammed schedule also featured the fourth leg of the HSBC Junior Tour at Fanling, the 2016 Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Junior Open presented by now TV and the 2016 Faldo Series Hong Kong Championship, also at Kau Sai Chau, which were scheduled to be played after the time of press.

Albert KW Lai Tournament:  Overall Boys: 34 – Yannick Artigolle; 32 – Frederic Khounphachansy; 31 – Byron Tan Kit-Kan; 28 – Andrew Liu.  Overall Girls: 30 – Vivian Chan Wing-Yiu; 29 – Hu Jing; 26 – Jeon Sun-Woo, Yuka Murakami.
