HONG KONG, 17 June 2015 (HK Golfer News Wire) - More than 270 golfers were in action during the ever-popular two day event for Hong Kong Golf Association subscribers. 67 also qualified for the prestigious MercedesTrophy Hong Kong 2015 in what was the final of three qualifying events for the internationally-renowned MercedesTrophy event back at Fanling on June 26.
Having reached the turn in four over par, 18-year-old Lam steadied himself in the blistering heat and found two birdies on the back nine to clinch the Men’s Strokeplay division. Ma Chak-lin claimed the Men’s Stableford prize with 26 points and Estee Leung was the Ladies Stableford winner with 35 points.
