“That’s easy: Tom Watson at The Open last year. I’ve played with all the greats – Sneed, Palmer, Nicklaus, Trevino – but Watson remains my favourite, my hero. I could play with him everyday, but what happened to him a Turnberry… I could have cried. Everyone thought he had won when he hit that second into 18, but he got a bad bounce.
