Whilst Rolex Testimonees Carlota Ciganda, Anna Nordqvist and Lexi Thompson each secured top-25 finishes, the 2016 Evian Championship also provided the stage for fellow Testimonee Lydia Ko to be crowned the 2016 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award winner

Rolex, Official Timekeeper of The Evian Championship, remained rooted in the competitive spirit of elite women's golf as the final Major of the golfing calendar came to a close on the shores of Lake Geneva. Since 2000, Rolex has been involved with The Evian Championship, supporting the event’s continued evolution – taking on major status in 2013, and opening up to an ever-more international field with new qualifiers in the U.S.A and South Korea for 2016. Rolex proudly presented the winner with a specially engraved Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust 31. Rolex and The Evian Championship’s steadfast commitment to emerging talent continues when the resort welcomes the world’s top U14 golfers for The Evian Championship Juniors Cup from 20 - 21 September.
