The 20-year-old, who in late June made headlines by winning the World University Championship in Switzerland, earned top amateur honours at the Kumho Tire Ladies Open, a China LPGA event, in early July with a strong showing over the course at Weihai Point Golf & Resort in Shandong province.
Chan who has risen to a career high of number 38 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, carded rounds of 73, 74 and 70 to finish the professional tournament in a share of 15th, 14 shots behind the winner, Kim Hyo Joo of Korea.
Next up for Chan will be the Asian Games and the World Amateur Championship, both of which will be played in September.
